Happy 4th of July to my neighbours to the south!
And we’re back to the present day. Probably should have warned you about that. I’ve had a fairly bad week so instead of trying my usual crosshatching everything I went with the much quicker “gray everything out to make it look like night.”
As for the characters we see here, hopefully you recognize/remember the majority of them from earlier stories. As for Professor Young, his first appearance was way back in “Story 1” (final page, in the crowd as pointed out by Piperson and shastab24) though he was also mentioned a few pages back in the first Bluenoser flashback. So yeah, he’s finally stepping up. I thought I’d be introducing him sooner and perhaps I should have worked him in to the background more but hindsight is 20/20 and all that.
Last, but not least, the Drunk Duck Awards voting has started. I encourage everyone to vote to support the great comics being done on the Duck. Here’s the site with “for your consideration” pages.
